Septemberfest is America's answer to Oktoberfest. Septemberfest ditches the German food and polka music in favor of barbecue and other distinctly American fare, along with live rock music. But, like its German counterpart, the four-hour Septemberfest features all-you-can-drink beer featuring more than 200 beers from dozens of breweries! A celebration of everything that's great about American culture! Admission is $50 and includes unlimited pours for four hours!

Support The Cure was founded in 2006 by a group of five friends aimed at accomplishing two goals, one: to bring an often apathetic younger generation into philanthropy and two: to help support the cure for global issues. They began this charity because each of the five friends had someone in their lives that had been affected by breast cancer--a mother, aunt, friend--and they felt it was time to help fight back. As they discussed their goals they realized that there is so much more in the world that affects them and those they love. As a result they chose the name “Support the Cure” as each year their event will raise money for a different global cause through a party with DJ, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, silent auction, and
fun people! This year Support the Cure is excited to partner with Teach For America to help raise money for the organization’s efforts to improve education in inner-city and rural schools.
This year’s sponsors include Coors, Diageo, Ketel One, Coca-cola, Smartwater, Morton’s Steakhouse, and Takami Sushi & Robata, Frosted Cupcakery

Since its inception in 1968, CONCERN Foundation, which is dedicated to raising
and granting funds to support cancer research worldwide, has broken local ground
in many ways: pioneering support of cancer research (specifically funding emerging scientists); using the force of a committed group of individuals, now four generations deep, to raise funds; encouraging restaurants and caterers to come together by donating and sharing center stage with the event donors and variety of annual themes to raise money; pioneering the “block party” fundraiser concept, which began on glamorous Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills and today has found a new long-term home on the ‘New York” set of the back lot of Paramount Studios in Hollywood. The event is attended each year by well over 3,500 “concerned” donors. more
