Cha Cha Cha Restaurant Review
CHACHACHA is a small hole-in-the-wall off Paradise and Sahara. I had been craving
some Caribbean food and thought it would be great big find. This contemporary Caribbean
Cuisine restaurant is one of the best Caribbean restaurants I have eaten, not only
for the great ambience, decoration and service, but for the fantastic food and the
amazing dining experiece we had.
CHACHACHA is located in West Hollywood, in the heart of Santa Monica Boulevard,
great ambience and fabulous bar and beautiful people watching scene. This is a very
festive restaurant, that brings you to Caribbean and makes you feel that you are
on vacation having a great time. There is a great bar area, with choice of the best
drinks, and of course their specialty that I could not miss: the Mojito. It was
very good and I also tried the famous: Sangria! You must have this one, delicious
and ideal to compliment your food.
We started with a huge and delicious tapas samplers which included: Guava and Goat
Cheese Quesadilla Que Rico, Crispy Shrimp Cakes; skillet cooked with homemade tartar
sauce, Banana Boats; Plantain boats filled with ground beef and vegetables served
with pina salsa, Coconut Shrimp; Serrano spiced, dressed with honey and cilantro
over baby greens, Gambas Negras; Jumbo Shrimp Jumbo Shrimp sautéed with their Signature
Spicy Black Pepper Sauce, Yucca Con Ajo; (Fried Yucca), Fried Yucca Served with
Mucho Garlic, bam! Great choice!
Sampler Platter
For our entrees our choice was: the authentic and delicious Paella Valenciana; Fresh
shrimp, scallops, clams, mussels and fish, Swordfish, Grilled Pacific Swordfish
with sweet onion and served with tomatillo salsa Bistec Argentino.
Paella Valenciana
We also had the authentic Aged New York Strip With Sweet Onion
and a traditional Argentine Steak Sauce. The food
was deliciously
prepared, and the desserts were devine.
Aged New York Strip With Sweet Onion
We had a wonderful dinner with great food and friendly,
but professional service.
The ambiance can't be beat.

Jerk Pork Tapas
Our waitress: George Guzman also suggested that we tried the Jerk Pork tapas appetizer,
which was a shredded pork tenderloin grilled with a spicy Jamaican Jerk sauce served
on a tortilla, that made us feel we were in Caribbean! I would certainly recommend
this one without any doubt.
Crème Brulee
Unbeatable
Bread Pudding!
We had a choice of 2 desserts; the Crème Brulee And The Unbeatable Bread Pudding!
What a great ending for an outstanding dinner!
Chachacha has a huge variety of tapas in their menu, including Pizzas, Empanadas,
Calamaris, etc, etc. and dinner is to die for! Nevertheless, the bright tastes and
varied textures are reward enough! Chachacha is one of the best Caribbean food restaurant
in town!
