Silvio's Brazilian BBQ was founded in April 2004 in Redondo Beach, CA, a beach community in the South Bay of Los Angeles by friends Silvio Correa, Douglas Howarth and Fernando Fayzano.

Silvio grew up in the town of Ipiranga which is located in the heart of Sao Paulo,
and has been a "BBQ Master" for the past 15 years. He was (and always will be) a local favorite in his hometown for his expertise in Brazilian BBQ and mixing
Brazilian cocktails. Now he is here in LA to give you a taste of what a traditional Brazilian BBQ is.

Douglas Howarth is a restaurateur from upstate New York and has lived in LA since 1995. He has worked in the restaurant industry since he was 16, and is known for his creativity and inventiveness both inside and outside the restaurants he has operated.

Fernando Fayzano, a venture capitalist and CEO of FFM Trading Company Inc., grew up with Silvio in Brazil and was the source of the start-up funds needed to get the business off the ground. The concept is based on the Brazilian "Backyard BBQ", a custom in Brazil that is based on friends getting together and socializing, while eating delicious food and drinking a variety of beverages for hours! This is not your typical BBQ.



Silvio's Brazilian BBQ is here to bring you a taste of Brazil. Unlike traditional Churrascaria's where servers carry large skewers of meats to your tables, we have based our concept on what it's like to participate in an actual Brazilian backyard BBQ. Our experienced staff is there not only to take care of you, but to have fun with you! Feel free to ask them anything. They love to talk (hey, they are Brazilian) and will fill you in on the food, the drinks, and where they came from in Brazil. Heck, they may even have a fresh capirhiniha with you!
