Enterprise Fish Co. Restaurant review



This restaurant delivers on the promise of the best in Venice Beach, California seafood. With more than 100 seats both indoor and out, this restaurant, built
in the heart of Santa Monica, Built in 1917, the historic building now home to
their Santa Monica restaurant was once a transfer station for the narrow-gauge
Red Car line, is worth the trip.

 
 

As you enter the restaurant you pass a magnificent live Maine lobster tank and a
huge display of giant king crab legs on ice. Passing the large salt-water aquarium you approach their large full service and oyster-appetizer bar, which is busy every night
of the week. Just outside is the heated bar patio with soft furniture and fire pit. Their gorgeous secluded and heated dining patio seats 75 and is very popular in warm weather months and provides a nice, quiet alternative to the bustling interior.



The service is impeccable, the restaurant atmosphere is truly a
happening place, and the food is superb!

The menu is absolutely fantastic for seafood lovers; there is a huge selection of the most amazing appetizers and entrees. Our choice was the Cajun Popcorn Shrimp, deliciously done and this one rocks! Good to enjoy with a nice cold beer!

White Sea bass, with Coconut Crusted with Mango and Avocado Salsa

Then for our main entrée our choice could not be better, we had the White Sea bass, with Coconut Crusted with Mango and Avocado Salsa, the most amazing fish and it was super fresh, we loved it, and of course our winner of the night the West Australian Lobster Tail and Top Sirloin, this dish was excellent and huge, it was enough to be shared in 2 people. The Lobster was super tender, a 12 oz. Cold water tail, steamed and served with hot drawn butter, and the Top Sirloin, was a 8 oz., mesquite wood grilled, tender and made to perfection.

It could not better, the service was also great, and the restaurant ambience was super happening, I truly enjoyed this restaurant. I will certainly go back, and for dessert we got a complimentary Enterprise Strawberries, a selection of fresh strawberries dipped in batter, flash fried and rolled in cinnamon and sugar; this one was my very first time trying and I can’t deny: I loved it!

The Enterprise Fish Co. is a fantastic restaurant, where a sumptuous selection of local seafood specialties is offered as well as both classic and a unique, at lunch and dinner you can have delicious soups, and salads, lobster, shellfish, meats and poultry and an incredible selection of appetizers, from Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail to Dungeness Crab.

Happy hour is every weekday from 4pm to 7pm and features a large assortment of seafood appetizers at discounted prices as well as drink specials. They also offer a 42 inch plasma TVs dominated the bar area with the sports on all of the time. If you are in the Venice Beach area, please, do not miss this place, it was absolutely divine!
