Ritual Restaurant & Nightclub Review
Ritual Supper Club and Restaurant has evolved into one of Los Angeles’
premier
dining and party venues, offering high quality dining
with an intimate after-dinner
lounge bar & nightclub.
Ritual is located in the very heart of Hollywood, and boasts one of the very best
alfresco terraces in the whole of Los Angeles, as well as two private bar in the
intimate, air conditioned vaults aside the main bar at the dining room. There
you
can sample their range of delicious contemporary cocktails, beers,
champagnes, and
dance the night away until the very early hours.
They are specialists in parties, group bookings, private dining and corporate
events
in Los Angeles. Tailoring parties to their requirements they
can accommodate groups
from two people to 300 people.
This is an ideal place to entertain and be entertained.
Ritual has a total of 4 bars, which should be enough to accommodate all the people
that are coming to have a good time. The airy, opened-up space has a something-for-everyone
vibe, with a gorgeous and large dance area, and stage, lots of plush booths, a more
intimate dining area and a walled-in, lounge patio now with an amazing waterfall.
Eighteen flat screens can be independently programmed.
Ritual will certainly be the latest pick for dinner, drinks and dancing, and I truly
believe this spot will be one of the best restaurants and night clubs in Los Angeles.
Ritual Sampler Platter
Chef Andrew Pastore’s innovative menu finds inspiration in fresh ingredients from
local farms, transforming the essence of seasonal offerings into creative concoctions
such as Ritual Sampler Platter, which serves from 2 to 4 people. We noticed that
each table ordered one, so did we. It was absolutely fabulous in presentation as
well as taste. This appetizer sampler comes with Coconut Shrimp skewers with Mango
Chili, Teriyaki Filet Skewers with Sesame and Scallions, Steamed
Lobster Dumplings,
Tempura Squash Blossoms with Ricotta and
Poricini Mushroom. Each dish is a meditation
on flavor,
expertly and creatively intertwining pure, fresh ingredients
into elegant
and delightfully surprising combinations.
Hawaiian Ahi Tuna “Poke”
Also, we ordered the Hawaiian Ahi Tuna “Poke” that was absolutely beautiful to
the
eyes and to your palate, served with Fresh Pineapple, Cucumber,
Sesame Wonton Crips
and Spicy Soy, I loved the freshness and
the simplicity of this appetizer, simply
divine!
Ritual Roll
Chef Andy Cut Roll
We could not pass without trying their famous Sushi Rolls: The Miystical Chef Andy
Cut Roll and the Ritual Roll, with have a daily selection of different fishes. Both
were fenomenal, I can’t say which one we loved the best, but they included Shrimp,
Ahi Tuna, Crab, and Lobsters. You must try them, it is a Ritual’s best of the best.
“Char Sui” Baby Back Pork Ribs
To end our appetizers we could not miss the “Char Sui” Baby Back Pork Ribs,
simply
delicious and really spicy. We loved this unique way to enjoy ribs
and the portions
were also big enough for 4 people.
Thai “Bouillabaisse” served with Maine Lobster Tail
Our entrées were nothing short of awe-inspiring. Per our server’s suggestion we
could not miss their famous Thai “Bouillabaisse” served with Maine Lobster Tail,
Mussels, Manila Clams, Shrimp and Green Tea Lemongrass Noodles. Yes, it was amazing,
the lobster tail and the other ingredients made this a magic dish.
Seared Diver Scallops, served with Green Gnocchi
My guest had the Seared Diver Scallops, served with Green Gnocchi, Sautéed
Corn
and Yuzu Truffle Beurre Blanc with enticingly rich flavor and
firm texture. It was
masterfully served.
Sesame Crusted Halibut Filet, served with Kefir Lime
I was enchanted with my Sesame Crusted Halibut Filet, served with Kefir Lime, Coconut
Sticky Rice, Sautéed Bok Choy and Thai Glaze which was every bit as
good as the
fine cabrilla and grouper caught in the Sea of Cortez. To
simply describe it as
fantastic would be an unjust understatement.
Grilled Szechwan Pepper-crusted Filet Mignon
We then enjoyed a flavorful selection of red wines with our final meat course consisting
of Grilled Szechwan Pepper-crusted Filet Mignon, which came
with Asparagus Tips,
Pearl Onions, Oyster Mushrooms & Balsamic
Sweet Soy reduction. The savory combinations
of
these dishes were exceptionally well crafted.
Green Tea Crème Brule
Chocolate Lava Cake
After enjoying a palate-cleansing course of exotic dishes, our server showed up
at
our table with a couple of delightful desserts; the Dessert Ritual they called,
the
Green Tea Infused Crème Brule with Citrus Tuile, a Grand Cruz Valrhona
Chocolate
Lava Cake with Tahitian Vanilla Ice Cream and the amazing Holy
Trinity of Cup Cake’s
with a variety of mini cup cakes that included Red Velvet, Candied Lemon & Chocolate
Chip Overdose which they say serves 2, I would
say serves 6…. Each was a masterpiece
of innovation, presentation ...and flavor!
Holy Trinity of Cup Cake’s
An evening at Ritual is not just a meal but a culinary adventure. Ritual has now
earned the reputation of being one of Hollywood’s finest gourmet
restaurants, despite
the fact that is surrounded by some of the
most prestigious dining establishments
in the entire city.
With an equally talented pastry chef Mario Ortiz, he created a very diversified
menu that will please anyone who appreciates good food, Ritual promises an
unrivaled
and extraordinary dining experience and an unforgettable night.
