Book Launch Party for ‘The Twelve’ Was Diabolically Delicious!

Tom, Brandon and Nadia

Hollywood -- Last evening, December 12, 2007, “The Twelve” took over Citizen Smith -- the hot hang in the heart of Hollywood. We are not talking about the
Twelve Apostles, The Twelve Days of Christmas nor the Twelve Supreme Court justices -- we mean the book party and signing for screenwriter/filmmaker Tom Kennedy and his new debut horror novel, THE TWELVE. Everyone in attendance was graciously gifted with a copy of "The Twelve" as well as a cookie version of the book – a special order shortbread confection that featured the cover
of the book, provided by ‘Cookies by Design’

Patrika Darbo

”The Twelve” involves the killing of Beverly Hills billionaires and is written in a suspenseful Stephenkingesque style -- an accolade bestowed by Kirkus Reviews. Along with many photographers, members of the media, VIPS and celebrities including Nadia Bjorlin & Brandon Beemer (“Days of Our Lives”), Patrika Darbo (“Hatchet”), Lorielle New (“Grind House”), Brenda Dickson (“Young & the Restless”) and many more, all were treated to tray passed appetizers of lightly fried chicken skewers, empanadas, mini beef Wellingtons with red wine demi glaze, tear drop tomatoes with fresh mozzarella and organic basil, mini three cheese pizzas, Citizen Smith Mac & Cheese fritters, fine Cabernet and Chardonnay provided by Burch Hall Winery, along with a bevy of desserts.

“I don’t think any billionaires were killed at this party,”
laughed Nadia, “and I certainly recognized a few!”
