Celebrated “FASHION MINGA 2012’’
"Minga"is an Ecuadorian term for "a community coming together to work
for the benefit of all." The debut of Fashion Minga took place during
LA Fashion Week, October 2012.

Fashion Minga, the premier event for LA Fashion Week, was a collaboration of designers, performers, and tastemakers who came together to celebrate
the various components that inspire fashion, music, dance,
shape, color and visual elements.

This year Fashion Minga was celebrated at Exchange LA;
the home of the original stock exchange in Downtown Los Angeles, Thursday, October 18th, 2012.
With highly anticipated red carpet arrivals, the industry's hottest
dance teams and performers, and an impressive lineup of designers,
this year’s Fashion Minga took a new level!

Fashion Minga 2012, with over 2,000 guests was a great Fashion Week event
to attend on the West Coast. Special VIP invites include some of Hollywood's top celebrities, noted entertainment and music professionals, as
well as fashion industry designers and buyers.
Early confirmations include: Jeff Timmons-98 Degrees; Thom Barry-Cold Case;
Jaimie Hilfiger-Celebrity Designer;Sabina Kelley-Oxygen
Networks ‘Best Ink’.This year's designers included: Cielo Rosso, Basically Me, BRDLY
Apparel, Victor's Promise, Buddhaful, and Miss Jumpin. Fashion
Minga was proud toworked with wonderful sponsors Marley Coffee-
SunRype- Elite FashionAcademy, Toni & Guy Hairdressing
Academy, and Pink Carpet Cupcakes!
Multiple press and social media outlets from around the world had the opportunity joined and covered this year's designers. The purpose of the event was to bring
the fashion community together and reshape Los Angeles as the fashion
capital of the world!! This event was spectacular, beautiful models,
amazing line of clothing by great designers.
BUZZ OF LA: Thanks to Francine that worked so hard to make this event a
great success, we had the opportunity to cover this glamorous event. Remember: Fashion is not only inspired by the creative minds of the designers but also by
