Conscience Cocktails’ Holiday Mixer benefitting The Seany Foundation
Wednesday, December 5, 2012
On the evening of Wednesday, December 5th, the philanthropic community gathered together for the
Conscience Cocktails’ Holiday Mixer benefitting The Seany Foundation. Guests mingled at the luxurious
Daniel Maltzman Gallery in Beverly Hills for an evening of socializing and philanthropy as we brought
together like-minded people, great food and cocktails while raising money and awareness for The Seany Foundation.
Guests were treated to an open bar sponsored by Akvinta Vodka, Dirty Tequila, IZZE and Aro Pistachios
along with food stations sponsored by Hollywood Pasta Company. The night of socializing was set to the
DJ stylings of DJ Frackture and included live musical performances by cancer survivor Urbalist, and up
and coming sensation Ruby Summer. Guests had the chance to enter the raffle with fabulous prizes such as
a Randy Kirk Original Artwork valued at $4,000. All proceeds directly benefitted the evening's charity
partner, The Seany Foundation. The Seany Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to
funding research to help find cures for pediatric cancers and to improving the quality of life for children,
teens, and young adults battling cancer.
Mitch Robins, father of Sean Lewis Robins, spoke to a captivated audience about his son’s fight with
Ewing sarcoma (a rare bone cancer) and how The Seany Foundation was founded in memory of their son. Sean
fought Ewing sarcoma for nearly seven years, until his death in 2006. He was just 22. The Seany Foundation
works to continue the fight that Sean began. Every day, 35 of our children and teens are diagnosed with cancer.
Seven will die. Seventeen of the 28 survivors will suffer devastating life-long side effects. For more info,
