To celebrate the Centennial of Catalina Island’s Avalon, Catalina Express, the leading boat transportation to and from Catalina Island with up to 30 daily departures, will launch a Facebook giveaway on anniversary day, Wednesday, June 26. Entries will be accepted through July 10. On July 12, 2013, one lucky Catalina Express Facebook fan will win 100 Days of Travel to Catalina in which he or she can travel to Catalina as often as they like, based on space availability, until October 22, 2013.


The company has also launched the Avalon Centennial Planner filled with hundreds of dollars in savings for travelers to the island. In addition, throughout 2013, Catalina Express continues its Free Round Trip on Your Birthday giveaway. The Avalon Centennial Planner (which can be used regardless of whether it’s your birthday!) is designed with themed quarterly offerings, giving travelers even more reasons to visit the Island of Romance year round.
