Dolce Restaurant Review

One of the restaurants I look forward to visiting again is Dolce Enoteca Restaurant, which is an experience in culinary excellence. Dolce is a sexy, sophisticated yet fun place with great food and a chef-driven Italian culinary. It is intended to appeal to
a full spectrum of diners, especially young professionals looking for both a good
meal as well as a casual second office of sorts. Dolce has been well received in a
city known to be critical of its eateries and has become a meeting place as well
as a dining experience.

Dolce stands out with its glamorous bar with romantic gas flames lighting the
absolutely astonishing bar.  I would say it reminds me of Dante’s inferno,
with a wall of fire behind the bottles, the flames light up all night long, making the ambience very, very romantic and cozy.

The restaurant has curved booths with soft black leather tablecloths. If you
are a smoker, there is a great patio nicely decorated with comfortable chairs.

The chef is Marin Santos, from El Salvador, his culinary talent really impressed us.
His Italian dishes are truly authentic, I must say that all the food we tried was absolutely excellent without any doubts the best place in town!

The bar is so beautiful and the drinks are truly unforgettable: We tried the
Champagne, Long Island Ice Tea, the Mojito, and the Rasberry Martini which
was excellent.  There is also huge variety of wines to sample from, if you don't
want a whole bottle, or want to sample a number of different wines, you will be delighted by the variety wines sold by the glass. If you want a bottle, there is a 44-page wine list, on the other hand, you'll have hundreds to choose from.

Mojito & Rasberry Martini                   Tartara di Tonno; Tuna Tartare

As antipasti e insalate we started with Tartara di Tonno; Tuna Tartare with cucumber, and thin bread crisps drizzled with wasabi sauce -very delicious and rich,  Next we had the home made Gnocchi di patate al pesto with just enough kick, followed by the Piatto di Burrata fresca con prosciutto San Daniele, (much tastier than the prosciutto di parma), with pomodori; this is a burrata cheese with grilled tomatoes and prosciutto San Daniele, it was a divine selection of appetizers.

Pasta lovers should opt for the luscious, creamy Garganelli all’Aragosta, small tube shape pasta with lots of lobster in tomato sauce, this is a must have!

For something more offbeat, and if you are a meat lover, try the authentic Costelette d’Agnello; grilled Colorado rack of lamb with potato and sautéed greens, and the standout, and my favorite, is the Halibut al forno; baked halibut served with crispy zucchini, fried eggplant and fresh organic vegetables.

Of course there always the Chef’s menu available to the entire table, upon request.

We were extremely satisfied with the amazing sexy night scene ambiance, excellent service and the delicious food, and no, we did not miss the desserts!   Dessert lovers
will gush over the Panettone al Tiramisu con Salsa al Caffe; Panettone tiramisu with Expresso flavor Mascarpone, yes, this was the best Tiramisu I have had, although I can’t say which one I loved the best, because the Tortino caldo al cioccolato servito con gelato, is also my favorite.

Dolce is now my absolute favorite Italian Restaurant, perfect for lunch and even
better for dinner, when you want to spend a quiet hour eating good food, watching beautiful people, and talking with friends. It does not have the Hollywood hostility,
but a very friendly ambience which make you so comfortable to the point that you don’t want to leave, it is the place to be! Highly recommended.

Dolce is absolutely not just fabulous and gorgeous, but most importantly as it regards the quality and freshness of the food. The menu is more then what you will expect, and it is prepared beautifully. The room is trendy and fun, we can’t wait to go back!
