Miyagi's On Sunset Restaurant Review
Miyagi is a sleek, sophisticated, finely appointed restaurant and night club in
Hollywood. Miyagi features freshly prepared ingredients, stellar sushi, and the
widest sake selection this side of the Pacific.

All served in an airy and ambient
setting. Experience the sleek urban elegance of Miyagi. And transport yourself to
the Far-from-ordinary East. The service during our recent visit was impeccable.
Our server Thomas Smith was polite, knowledgeable, and observant in that he knew
when and when not to approach our table. His suggestions were outstanding and all
deliciously prepared.

We began with the appetizers menu, we asked for a variety of sushis and rolls, as
well as the Soft Shell Crab Tempura which we all loved and would not mind repeating
it again. I loved the texture and the flavor, the we had Black Cod Saikyo Style,
a flet of black cod marinated with sweet miso and sake, tasted great as well, and
the
Lobster Dynamite roll, that one rocks! We enjoyed it very much, followed by a delicious
California Roll, freshly done with lots of crabs inside.

For our entrées, we were suggested by Thomas to try the Grilled New York Steak,
with Scallops and Lobster, this dish was delightful and incredibly fresh.

We also
had the Lobster, Shripmp and Scallops, which was also delicious as was the Lobster
and Filet Mignon . Again, all very fresh, with vivid textures.

The entire dinner was exquisite with delicate flavors as was the the
eel sushi, the
taste was superb.
Washed down with a wonderful Sapporo Beer and Suishin Sake,
everything here was a treat.

We tried some regular rolls as well. The California Roll, probably the safest choice
for the sushi novice was excellent. Lovely flavor here.
We also had an amazingly good green tea
ice cream and fried tempura ice cream with fresh fruits for dessert.

In summation, Miyagi's is more than worth your time and attention. The sushi and sashimi were as
good as any I've had in town. And they know how to take care of you there.
The manager on duty,Martin made sure our all night went smoothly. Thanks again to
Thomas Smith, our waiter and the rest of the staff was also great. I give the dinner
and the atmosphere an A+. Miyagi is definitely here to stay!
