Pirates, Irish minstrels, hoop dancers, a fire breather, Playboy TV™ and adult film stars gathered at the Egyptian Theater in the heart of Hollywood on Monday night for the opening of what may be the first adult movie for the big screen – Pirates! The new release from Digital Playground starred Devon, Jesse Jane, Jenaveve Jolie, and Carmen Luvana and opened on a real movie screen to a crowd more varied than the booty of the Spice Islands.

Playboy™ TV’s Andrea Lowell had the two questions for the stars and their friends as they walked down the red carpet: “Before tonight - have you ever watched people have sex on screen - with other people in the room?” and “Why not?”

Since Trina and Stormy would not talk to us, the most fun was provided by The Mutaytor, (www.mutaytor.com) providers of fire breathers and performance dancers. Or Rillian and the Doxie Chicks, owners of the longest name in music history. (http://www.rillianandthedoxiechicks.com) The Doxie Chicks looked to be armed and descendant of real pirates from the nefarious Pirate Island of Roatan. The violinist also may have played with Dexie’s Midnight Runners.

And the movie? Pirates! It was something about some horny pirates and their search for pieces of eight. We did not grade the film because our reporter could not stick around to watch it. You should watch it because Digital Playground is very organized and even bought pizza for the media and musicians afterwards. This film is rated X, for graphic copulation and copious nudity -- Not appropriate for children.
