EVENT:
Chef Gregg J. Wangard, chef de cuisine of Ocean & Vine Restaurant
and ChefJill Davie, chef de cuisine of Josie Restaurant will
flex their culinary
muscles and compete for the prestigious title of
Best Chef by the Bay. Both
chefs
will use hand selected farm fresh ingredients
and special cuts of meat
and fish to prepare their culinary masterpieces
before the audience. Chris
Cognac, judge on
the Food Network's popular Iron Chef show 3rd Season,
will host and judge the evening's event.

Ocean & Vine¹s Signature Cheese Fondue
with Ciabatta bread, Bosc pears and Fuji apples
Santa Monica Vegetable Rolls
with Daikon sprouts and Peanut cilantro sauce
Each chef will create two unique and distinctive
entrees. Their masterpieces will then be served to the audience,
the ultimate judge

The American Institute of Wine and Food was founded in 1981 by
Julia Child, Robert Mondavi and Richard Graff. It is a non-profit organization designed to support and foster the study of wine and food.
